UC Berkeley’s first ever Self-Guided Black history tour was created by longtime staff member Gia White and I. White researched and wrote the tour, and I produced the audio. In the 14-stop tour, listeners journey through Berkeley’s Black campus history from the past 100 years.

The tour launched in 2024. It is now officially part of the UC Berkeley visitor center, has been shared by various campus officials (Chancellor Rich Lyons), professors, and featured in campus and local news.
